Everyone’s favourite fly-half Andy Goode has been shedding the weight and getting into fantastic shape in a recent photo shared on Twitter.
The legend had a much-travelled career, turning out for Saracens, Leicester, Worcester and Wasps, as well as having short stints with clubs in both France and South Africa.
The former England playmaker was a talismanic figure in his heyday. Known for his trademark hairline, tight-fitting shirts, and godly gloves, Goode scored a record 2214 points in the Premiership over an 18-year career, second only to Charlie Hodgson.
A talent above all, Goode continues to have a cult-following even in his retired years. We see very different Andy Goode nowadays, however – one with a full head of hair, expert fashion sense, and even a six-pack.
Commenting on his fitness journey, Goode said: “Equally embarrassed by the left picture as I’m proud of the graft to get to the right “
