Antoine Dupont and his Toulouse teammates put on a clinic this evening in San Sebastian.
Dominating Racing 92 in the Top 14 semi-final 41 – 14, Toulouse took one step closer to a 22nd French title.
Still clearly reeling from their disappointing Heineken Champions Cup semi-final loss to Leinster, Toulouse looked like a side on a mission.
Whilst it took 18 minutes to get across for the first try of the evening, there was only ever one side in the contest as Toulouse at one point held a 34 – 0 lead.
Whilst just about every Toulouse try was a thing of beauty, there was one from arguably the game’s best player that stood out.
Going through the phases, Toulouse were making slight in-roads into a belligerent Racing defence that was at that point, playing for pride.
As ever, it would take a moment of magic from one Antoine Dupont to unlock the defence.
Sit back and enjoy the master at work.
