Bath Rugby’s renaissance is nearly complete…
Or so Bath fan Tom Craven will hope! The Bath fan has been doing the rounds online over the past 24 hours for his fantastic tattoo celebrating his team’s impending victory in the upcoming Premiership final!
A side reborn in the 2023/24 season under head coach Johaan van Graan, Bath have played some superb rugby so far this season and will face a high-flying Northampton Saints at Twickenham on Saturday.
Ahead of the big fixture, Mr Craven took the bold step to get the tattoo which he has explained is for a great cause!
Discussing the tattoo, Mr Craven said that the main reason for getting the tattoo was to raise awareness for the Testicular Cancer Society.
“It’s all for a good cause, and at the end of the day, Bath are going to win, so it’s not really that much of a gamble,” Mr Craven added.
“There was a lot of discussion about what happens, where it goes, what we do with it.”
Praising the Testicular Cancer Society, Mr Craven said he praised the charity’s ability to educate men to get checked.
“It really does highlight what goes on.
“I thought it was a great idea, and I’ve always wanted to do something to celebrate Bath.
“At the end of the day, if they lose, I can always put a line through the “champions”.
“It’s not the end of the world.” He concluded.
