Leinster have had an extremely busy couple of days on the transfer front. Yesterday it was reported that they were bringing in All Black legend Jordie Barrett to the fold, today it the turn of the Irish side to release a player.
The player making his way out of Dublin is 6ft 6in second row, Ross Molony. The 29 year old is set to join Bath Rugby ahead of the 2024/2025 season after making his Champions Cup debut against the English side back in 2016.
With over 175 caps for Leinster in a nine year career, as well as four Pro 14 titles, Molony is expected to provide Bath with further strength in depth to an already fierce side.
On securing this latest addition for the next three seasons, Bath head coach Johan van Graan said: “Ross is a true professional and his journey in rugby is a testament to this.
“His work ethic and leadership are some of his key characteristics and I believe he will play a huge part in our journey in the next number of years. What struck me is the quality of a human being Ross is.”
