Top 14 matches took place midweek this week, and there will be more on Sunday, but here is a recap of the best tries from round 3 of the tournament in France. There’s a few questionable ones, but one or two great pieces of skill, including a great hit on the final try.
This weekend is set to be manic as the Aviva (formerly Guinness) Premiership kicks off in England tonight, as does the Magners League with teams from Wales, Scotland, and Ireland going head to head.
That’s just the Northern Hemisphere. Down South there is the ITM Cup of New Zealand, the Currie Cup in South Africa, and of course the Tri Nations as South Africa and Australia do battle once again in the Republic, to see who will take home the Mandela Plate.
I’ll attempt to get the Fixtures list up to date, although it’s not likely before tonight – apologies for that. Make sure you watch your favourites teams in action though, and if you can, try watch a game from another hemisphere even. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Whatever you manage to watch, please try get involved with Rugbydump by getting in touch whenever you see something you think should be shared on the site. Make a note of the times, send in details, and RD will attempt to do the rest.
Enjoy Round three’s Top 14 tries, a week that saw the number 1 try going to an American player which is quite a nice little achievement for him and rugby in that country. Also check out Marc Andreus neat footwork for his try, and Toulouse’s length of the field effort.
