There have been eight world cups to date, with the Black Ferns winning five of them. Their most recent victory came in 2017 with a 41-32 win over the English in Belfast. The Red Roses have rebuilt over the past few years, and now they go from strength to strength as they look to extend their 30-game unbeaten run, as they look to exact revenge over the Black Ferns.
The Black Ferns on the other hand have shown terrific resilience after a tough couple of years of mixed results and personnel changes. They have won every game so far during this world cup and are displaying the style of rugby they are so famous for.
The match will take place at a sold-out Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday, with millions expected to tune in from around the world.
