French Top-14 Side Bordeaux-Begles have shown long-time coach Christophe Urios the door following their disappointing run of form so far this season.
Urios who has had his fair share of controversies during his time in charge, most notably his pitch side clash with La Rochelle boss Ronan O’Gara was said to have been sitting on a “ticking time bomb”.
That time is now up for Urios who guided Bordeaux to back-to-back semi-final berths over the past two seasons.
In addition to the clash with O’Gara, Urios has also reportedly fallen out with a number of his players including French stars Matthieu Jalibert and Cameron Woki.
Bordeaux are now rumoured to be courting former French international and Bayonne manager Yannick Bru who is currently working as an assistant coach with United Rugby Championship side the Sharks.
