If anybody ever needed convincing of the benefits of grassroots level rugby, tell them to watch this video of 62 year old Jim Borland.
Borland is described as a ‘club legend and life member’ by Ely Tigers RUFC and in their annual boxing day game, he scored a long-distance try with the entire pitch and crowd cheering him on.

The RFU have also got behind the legendary 62 year old as they shared the video on their official twitter page.
What a moment for Jim, and who knows, he could be the solution to England’s midfield problems.
