Bristol Bears secondrow Josh Caulfield’s red card from the Investec Champions Cup clash with Connacht has been rescinded.
The 26-year-old was shown red for stamping on the face of Connacht prop Finlay Bealham.
Caulfield did not accept that he had committed an act of foul play, whilst the disciplinary committee found that he had committed an act of foul play but that it did not meet the red card threshold.
This, therefore, ensures that the lock will be available for selection for the Bears Gallagher Premiership clash with West Country rivals Bath Rugby this Saturday.
