Vodacom Bulls head coach Jake White has come under fire for a reason he provided following his team’s BKT URC final loss to the Glasgow Warriors.
Despite racing into a commanding 13 – 0 lead with less than a minute to play in the first half, the Bulls couldn’t land the killer blow to see off the Glaswegians.
Instead it would be Franco Smith’s side who would capitalise just before halftime as secondrow Scott Cummins crashed over for a try.
From here the Scottish side would score two more tries whilst the Bulls could only secure another penalty from Johan Goosen.
Landing what proved to be the decisive blow in the 62nd minute through Huw Jones, Glasgow rarely looked troubled by the Bulls for the remainder of the fixture.
In rather left field take on proceedings, the experienced World Cup winning coach White laid blame at the feet of the match officials.
“They played Munster and they beat the team that was top of the log.
“It’s twice in a row now where the referee has let the away side win.
“In fact its three times, because last year Munster won in Cape Town, Glasgow won in Munster, we won in Leinster and this referee let the away team win.
“So maybe next year I will ask when play away to let him try and ref us.” White concluded.
Pathetic from Jake White.
Lost a lot of respect for him this season. #URC pic.twitter.com/BGA9TZZZ1Z
