French Top 14 powerhouses Castres and Toulouse collided in what was a pivotal early season clash over the weekend.
Castres would emerge victorious 31 – 23 denying their rivals any match points from the outing.
The result see’s Castres sit comfortably in third on the overall table whilst the reigning champions drop to 7th.
In a clash that it had it all, Castres scored what will surely be considered for the coveted try of the year award when it is all said and done.
Starting from just inside their own 10m line, the men in white launched a wide attack.
Utilising just six passes, the final four of which were all exceptional offloads. Castres shredded the normally resolute Toulouse defence.
The vision for the first long ball was exceptional but it was Castres hard straight running and offloads that catch the eye.
