With the RBS 6 Nations kicking off on Friday, we were given some interview time with a few of the England players as they prepared for their big game with Wales. Some of your questions, posed on the RD Facebook Page, were also asked.
Its not everyday that you get to ask a question to a top international rugby player, so through opportunities like this we hope to get you more connected to them, and of course ask important questions like
Are you and my girlfriend an item?
. Thanks, Robin.
On the superstition side of things, Simon Shaw revealed that he likes to get out of the dressing room last, a la David Campese. The reason behind it though isn’t superstitious, it’s actually practical as he had a pretty bad neck injury a few years ago. To avoiding the hyped up taps on the back that usually take place pre kickoff, he’d simply make sure he was the last one out.
The feeling in the England squad seems good, and after a fairly successful Autumn International series, they have the self belief which could make them a real handful for Wales on Friday night.
We’ll have more interviews over the next few weeks, so keep a check on the
Facebook Page
.
