Munster Rugby have confirmed that star centre Antoine Frisch will depart the province at the end of the season.
Joining Top 14 powerhouse Toulon, Frisch who was a member of Fabien Galthie’s Six Nations squad earlier this season looks set to pull on the blue jersey later this summer.
The 28-year-old, who has previously featured for the Emerging Ireland side, was a shock call-up to Galthie’s squad and will depart Munster when their BKT United Rugby Championship campaign comes to an end.
Playing 39 times for Munster to date, Frisch was a key contributor to Munster’s run to the URC title last season.
Earlier this week Munster confirmed the signing of Connacht centre Tom Farrell ahead of next season and currently have New Zealand Alex Nankivell, Sean O’Brien and Rory Scannell on their books as centre options.
