Northampton Saints and England legend Courtney Lawes is reportedly set to join French Pro D2 side Brive next season per a report in French outlet Rugbyrama.
The 34-year-old has previously been linked with a move to France but appeared keen to remain at Franklin’s Gardens.
Despite now being retired from Test Rugby, Lawes has been in exceptional form for the Saints so far this season. The former club captain reportedly had an offer on the table from the Saints but has instead opted to end his career in France.
Clearly still willing and able to play, Lawes, who covers both the back row and second row, has reportedly agreed to join Brive next season but has yet to sign the contract.
