Damian Penaud Pulls Off a "van der Merwe" in Outrageous French Try

Currently, in the midst of one of the greatest Six Nations clashes of all time, Ireland and France have each scored tries worthy of awards.

In the most perfect representation of French flair, Les Bleus pounced on an Irish defensive breakdown to score a world-class try.

Started in broken play on the back of ferocious Irish defence, the French found some soft shoulders on scrambling Irish defenders.

Still, with plenty to do Clermont winger Penaud slipped through a number of would-be tacklers to finish a try-of-the-season contender.

On the stroke of half-time, Ireland are leading 19 – 16 with a penalty to come.
