On Monday evening, Antoine Dupont was awarded the ‘Best Top 14 Player’ and ‘Best French International Player’ titles at the prestigious ‘Nuit du Rugby’ awards.
This was a record third time Dupont collected the top awards, after scooping them the previous year and in 2021. Despite being only 27 years of age, Antoine Dupont has already built a metaphorical trophy cabinet to hold more than 20 awards, so far.

Speaking about the pride of the awards, Dupont said: “You have to measure how lucky you are to win trophies, be that as a team or individually,” Dupont said at Monday’s ceremony in central Paris.
“It’s always nice to have nights like this … We were lucky to feel incredible emotions, be that with Toulouse or the Olympic medal.
“We’ve realised that we’ve done something great this year.”
Elsewhere there was a well-deserved ‘Try of the season’ award given out to Peniasi Dakuwaqa for his wonder try against Racing 92.
