It was a tough first test for the men in white, and unfortunately for them, it’s not about to get any easier.
After being withdrawn from the first test early with a head injury, Tom Curry will see the rest of the tour off back in England.
The RFU has stated that in the interest of player welfare and recovery, the 24-year-old will need to withdraw from the tour.
The Sale Sharks flanker will fly back to England later this week. As a result, Curry will have his ongoing concussion assessments and management done from England.
Curry is England’s first injury on tour, and as a natural leader and incredible young player, he will be missed.

Lewis Ludlum is the favourite to replace the former captain, coming off the back of a very strong second-half performance in the first test against the Aussies.
Quade copper, the Australian half-back, was also injured during last weekend’s match-up. Cooper didn’t quite make it to the field as he injured his left calf during the warm-up.
No news yet on whether he will be available for the next test, but with Noah Lolesio having made such an impact as the replacement, he may have a hard time regaining his place.
