Leicester Tiger’s Anthony Watson scored one of the individual tries of the season in the Tiger’s emphatic victory over the Ospreys.
Remarkable still only 28-years-old the British and Irish Lion appears to be rediscovering his best form for the reigning Premiership champions.
Given England’s upheaval of late the fullback-cum-winger could well find himself back in the international fold as soon as the Six Nations.
Throw into the mix that his club coach Steve Borthwick is the heavy favourite to take over as the next England coach and Watson’s chances appear even greater.
The Try itself showed why Watson was considered one of the most dangerous back three players in the game for a number of seasons.
Gathering the ball on the halfway line, Watson hit the jets as he burst the Ospreys defence with ease to finish underneath the posts.
Moments like these will go a long way towards separating Watson from his contenders for the England back three roles.
Individual brilliance at its finest 👏
