Defending Rugby World Cup Champions South Africa will take to the pitch this evening to face arch-rivals New Zealand in what will be the two sides final hit out before Rugby World Cup 2023.
Having won the previous four World Cups between them, this evening’s clash is being billed as a potential knockout clash dress rehearsal.
As such the two sides have picked strong squads to take the Twickenham pitch which will please what looks set to be a raucous 60,000+ sell out.
Leading the Boks will be long-time skipper Siya Kolisi who has completed a remarkable return from a knee injury that had threatened to rule him out of the World Cup.
Back to his rampaging best last week as the Boks pummelled Wales in Cardiff, Kolisi played forty minutes and will be looking to get a longer stint this evening.
Clearly the heartbeat of the Boks, Kolisi return to the squad cannot be underestimated.
A born leader, phenomenal player and an exceptional ambassador for the game, Kolisi is the key to getting the green machine rolling.
What many Rugby not from South Africa may have missed is Kolisi’s epic pre-game chant which he sings as he leads his side down the tunnel and onto the pitch.
Geeing up his side before the battle to come, the chant has now become a fixture in the side.
Adding a little extra to the chant, South African band “The Kiffness” have just released a very cool remix of the chant. Check it out below.
