Eric Rush, former New Zealand Sevens legend, delivered an outstanding eulogy to Jonah Lomu today in what was the final public memorial for the late superstar. Rush, capped 9 times by the All Blacks, was there at the very beginning of Lomu’s career, as he explained.
“I’m going to tell a few stories about the big fella and hope he doesn’t sit up,” he joked.
While it was a hilarious and very well put together eulogy for the thousands on hand, it wasn’t all laughs, as Rush paid respect to Lomu’s family, including his wife and kids.
