South Africa have just pulled off their first win in Australia since 2013 in a terrific display, beating the Wallabies 8-24.
Not allowing his team to take all the headlines, Eben Etzebeth decided to get fully involved in a ruckus after the Springbok’s fourth try of the game.

A beautifully timed pass from Willie Le Roux put Makazole Mapimpi through down the left wing. With his jet shoes on, the prolific winger burst over, shrugging off a flailing tackle from Marika Koroibete.
It was following the touchdown that it really kicked off though, with Mapimpi pushing down on the throat of his attempted tackler. Suddenly it was fifteen on fifteen, with Etzebeth naturally right in the centre.
Everything seemed to calm down before Etzebeth emerged from what looked like the depths of hell, with Allan Ala’alatoa in both hands.
Rugby’s version of the Ice Hockey enforcer is something to be said for the man as he’s never afraid to get his hands dirty when teammates are in trouble.

Despite Etzebeth causing the most mayhem in the scuffle, the big man avoided any sort of personal punishment. Instead, it was the try scorer Mapimpi that ended up spending the final ten minutes of the game on the touchline.
Surprisingly to the player and the Springbok fans alike, it was ruled as he started the brawl that he should be the one to take punishment.
