The mass exodus of Exeter appears to still be in full flow as Luke Cowan-Dickie signs a huge £300k+ per year deal with Montpellier.
Will Kelleher, The Times Deputy Rugby Correspondent, has broken the news as Cowan Dickie looks to be joining current teammate Sam Simmonds down in the South of France.

This news comes as Gallagher Premiership sides are facing a salary cap pinch and the reduction of two marquee players to one this season.
Of course, the move overseas will rule Cowan-Dickie out of international contention, with the Exeter man having been England’s first/second choice hooker for the past few years, alongside the slightly older Jamie George.
Exeter Chiefs Director of Rugby had the following to say about the situation:
“Good teams are cyclical. “I’m not concerned about players leaving. Can you expect, especially with a reduction of the salary cap, guys to start out as young players, from our academy, and quite a few from the Championship, to stay together?”
