Exeter Chiefs full back Josh Hodge scored an incredible solo try against Gloucester during Friday night’s Premiership clash at Kingsholm.
The 20-year-old caught a highball just outside his own 22-metre line and found a hole in the Gloucester defence before beating full back Santiago Carreras with a wonderful step.
Hodge then ran in from 20 metres untouched to score a fantastic individual try in the seventh minute of the game.
WOW! That is sensational, Josh Hodge! 🤩
Take the ball inside your own half and do it all yourself!
The step. The finish. Excellent from the @ExeterChiefs full-back! 👏#GallagherPrem pic.twitter.com/clRoHUBbtm

Unfortunately Hodge’s effort wasn’t enough to help Exeter win the game as Gloucester sealed a 34-18 bonus point win.
