Fans have been left shocked after Owen Farrell was not even yellow carded for a clear shot to the head.
In a hugely controversial and tight game at The Shed, Owen Farrell proved to be center of attention.
The England international won the match in dramatic fashion with the final kick of the game after he expertly slotted a drop goal in extremely tough conditions.

One of the best @premrugby games this season is settled by a late kick from @Saracens captain Owen Farrell!#GallagherPrem pic.twitter.com/pVLegqI6tG

However, not ten minutes before that, Farrell made direct contact to the head of a Gloucester forward and astonishingly this was not picked up by the officiating team or TMO until about 3 minutes after the event had occurred.
As a result the ref could not go back to penalise Farrell as it was not in ‘the same phase of play’ – This meant Gloucester were not even awarded a penalty.
We probably haven't heard the last of this one 👀#GallagherPrem pic.twitter.com/7DIsJiwCp8
