Ellie Kildunne played a part in and scored a stunning team try in Harlequins’ Premiership Women’s Rugby match against Leicester on Saturday.
The attacking move started at Quins’ own 22 but seven slick passes and breaks later Kildunne was over the whitewash.
The silky try added some champagne rugby to an impressive display which saw the London club come away with a 42-17 win. Allianz Stadium, previously called Twickenham, was the location for the game and it saw a world record crowd produced for a women’s rugby club game with 18,055 supporters in the stand watching on.
Victory saw Quins leapfrog Exeter Chiefs to top of the table, two points clear of the west country side.

Kildunne, who scored two tries in the game, was one of the standout performers but it was Kayleigh Powell who was awarded Player of the Match. Powell made 12 carries and 70 metres.
She told TNT Sports post-match: “It’s incredible to have so many people here, it means so much to all of us. The support we have been shown in this stadium as full as it is is incredible and it was a really enjoyable day.
“We are building something really special, so to be able to do it on the big stage and keeping that winning streak going is incredible.”
The victory was Quins’ eighth in a row in a campaign which has seen a huge improvement in form. Last season they finished in seventh but are competing for a semi-final spot this campaign.
Powell added on the uptick in form: “I think we have all come together as one massive family.
“There is a lot of cohesion, a lot of effort that has gone into it. Our defence is one of the things we credit and Leicester really did test that. That is one thing we are really going after and the heart that this team has is what I think is setting the difference.”
