Australian head coach Eddie Jones and his Wallabies have had a tough go of it at this year’s Rugby World Cup.
Now relying on a Fijian slip-up against Portugal to have any chance of qualifying for the quarterfinals.
This perilous position comes on the back of a first loss to Fiji in nearly seventy years, compounded by a record loss to Wales a week later.
Ending their pool campaign with a win over a plucky Portuguese side, the Wallabies have a slim chance of qualification should Fiji not take any match points from their upcoming match with Portugal.
Having said, “We have a chance”, Jones has caught the eye of those right at the top of the Fijian government.
Responding to a graphic of Jones making the statement, Fijian politician Pio Tikoduadua shut down Jones with one of the best comments we have seen on a post for quite some time.
