Former Blue Bulls, Leicester Tigers, Saracens and Springbok rugby player Derick Hougaard is currently in the fight of his life.

Battling an inflammation of the lungs, the 40-year-old has reportedly been in a coma for the past six days.
Based on reporting in South African news outlets News24, Hougaard reportedly woke up on Friday June 9th feeling nauseous before being admitted to a hospital in Pretoria.
Hougaard played over 100 games for the Bulls and represented South African on eight occasions including the 20023 Rugby World Cup.
Thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
