French international Teddy Thomas scored a lovely individual try for Racing 92 during Saturday’s Top 14 clash with Bordeaux.
The winger received the ball down the blindside of a driving maul on the halfway line and chipped over the last Bordeaux defender to leave a clear run for the line.
Thomas’ kick was perfectly weighted and he used his blistering pace to reach the ball first and complete a beautiful individual score to help Racing to a 12-17 win in round 11 of the domestic league.
Thomas, 27, played for France earlier on in the Autumn Nations Cup but was one of the more experienced players absent form Sunday’s final against England and with 13 tries in 22 appearances for France, Thomas is one of Les Bleus’ most deadly finishers.
