Freddie Burns leads the celebrations once again with new club in Japan

This time, 18 months ago, Freddie Burns booted a rugby ball over the Twickenham posts to signal what would become one of the most talked about and viewed nights out of all time.

It was also the lesser-talked-about moment that Burns drop-kicked his team, Leicester Tigers, to Premiership Final victory in the dying moments of what had been their greatest season in many years.

That evening came and went with Leicester fans up and down the country celebrating their team’s win with such jubilation and excitement that many partied early into the morning. Leading those celebrations, unbeknown to absolutely no one, was the OG hype man, Freddie Burns.

Burns, with the use of social media, share to the world his evening that consisted of eating a chicken nugget sharebox and vibing to Queen with the trophy in clear sight – this man did in right.

Now playing in Division 2 of the Japanese league, Burns was once again spotted leading the celebrations with his new club, Toyota Shokki Shuttles, as they defeated Green Rockets Tokatsu by nine points at the weekend.
