Capping off an incredible season that has seen him cement himself as England’s first choice Fullback.
Leicester Tigers Freddie Steward was instrumental in both England’s 2 – 1 test series victory over Australia and the Tigers Premiership victory.
Individual he was named The Rugby Players’ Association – Player’s Young player of the year and England men’s player of the season.
High praise indeed for the 21-year-old and further highlighted just how crucial he will be to the Red Rose at next year’s World Cup.
Leaving Australia, it wasn’t just the series win that Steward picked up. In a hilarious video released by the England Rugby’s twitter account, he can be seen getting his first tattoo.
As is the case with many people with their first tattoo, Stewards nerves seem to be on par with starting a big international!
Now firmly inked as an England international, the Norfolk man looks set to gain plenty more caps for both country and club.
