France centre Jonathan Danty ended the first half his team’s Six Nations clash with Italy in the sin-bin following a big hit on Italian counterpart Ignacio Brex.
Lining up Brex from a long way out, Danty made contact in an upright position as he put in a dominant hit.
Now awaiting a review by the bunker system, Danty will learn his fate at the beginning of the second half.
Should the bunker adjudge that the incident meets the red card threshold then the French will be down to 14 men for the second half.
