England’s home match against Wales in the Six Nations has gotten off to a tumultuous start with the men in white seeing two of their players sent to the sin-bin within the first 20 minutes. Not only has this made things more difficult, England are making things even harder for themselves from the kicking tee.
After a wonderful try from Ben Earl on the right-hand side of the posts, George Ford stepped up to convert to add the extra two points. His effort failed to happen, however, after the Wales players booted the ball off of the tee after Ford made a forward movement.

George Ford’s conversion isn’t attempted and Wales still lead at Twickenham…

Fans weren’t happy with the call, with many claiming that the England forward was simply stepping to the side and not infact advancing towards the kick.
Score at the time of writing: England 5-7 Wales
