Glasgow score wonderful cross-field try to down La Rochelle in France

Glasgow Warriors scored one of the tries of the weekend to sink La Rochelle at Stade Marcel Deflandre in the Champions Cup.

The Warriors were four points down with 15 minutes to go when fly half Adam Hastings teed up Kyle Steyn on the wing with a perfectly weighted cross-field kick.

Steyn took the ball in his stride and beat full back Kini Murimurivalu on the outside to run in the try from 60 metres out and give Glasgow the lead late on.

 

The game finished 24-27 meaning that Glasgow are now second in Pool 2  of the Champions Cup after three rounds.
