Christian Wade swapped his life as a prolific try-scorer in England’s Premiership for a lucrative role in the practice squad of NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
The 30-year-old was one of the highest scorers in Premiership history with 82 tries before making his move to the United States.
In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Christian Wade has spoken of his relationship with England boss, Eddie Jones.
Christian Wade earned only one full international cap for England on their tour of Argentina in 2013 where he played a full 80 minutes.
Since then he was called up to the British and Irish Lions squad but never featured again in a Test for Eddie Jones’ side.
In a new interview with the Daily Mail, here is what Wade had to say about Jones.
“Nah. I don’t speak to those guys, Eddie used to call me, back in the day… he just says stuff that doesn’t make sense.‘
He continued,
‘Just keep scoring tries,’ he was told. ‘Something like that… he would just say strange stuff.’
