North Harbour hooker James Parsons has thrown the pass of all passes to set up winger Matt Duffie for a try in their Mitre 10 Cup clash in Albany. While Canterbury came out the better side with a 31-21 win, it was this pass that was one of the highlights from the contest.
The beautiful thing about this lovely moment was that his well timed run came from a pop pass from another front rower, prop Chris Eves.
Parsons sliced through the gap and with Duffie running an inside line, there was only one thing left to do.
The inside flick was perfect, and skilled runner Duffie did the rest, beating three players for a beautiful try.
Parsons, who is a regular in studio with Sky Sport NZ, got the loudest cheer of the night from his colleagues in the commentary box. Richly deserved, too.
Canterbury go top of the Mitre 10 Cup Premiership table for now, while North Harbour stay bottom.
Canterbury play again on Sunday, hosting a visit from Auckland, while North Harbour host Bay of Plenty.
