Irish veteran Rob Kearney executed a wonderful 50/22 kick while representing the Western Force in Friday’s Super Rugby AU match vs Melbourne Rebels.
The 34-year-old caught the ball inside his own half at HBF Park and produced a lovely low kick which bounced into touch inside the Rebels’ 22-metre line.
The experimental 50/22 rule in Super Rugby AU means that Western Force retained possession at the lineout, rewarding the excellent kick with an attacking opportunity.
