Ireland and Connacht winger Mack Hansen has enjoyed a meteoric rise from afterthought to superstar over the past three seasons.
The Australian-born finisher was struggling for game time at Super Rugby side the Brumbies before a move to West of Ireland rejuvenated his career.
Yet, whilst the move to Galway was the catalyst for the Hansen, we see today. It was the faith that head coach Andy Farrell placed in him that took Hansen to the next level.
Hansen has repaid this faith in spades putting in seemingly world-class performance after world-class performance for the men in green.
It is not just on the pitch that Hansen has repaid Farrell, the eccentric winger has taken it one step further off the pitch to show his appreciation for the boss.
Already draped in weird and wonderful tattoos, Hansen added a tattoo of Farrell to his collection following Ireland’s 2023 Six Nations Grand Slam campaign.

Now Hansen has taken it upon himself to use his body once again to pay homage to a member of the Irish squad.
Iconic backline stalwart Keith Earls is in line to earn his 100th Test Cap for Ireland on Saturday, following what has been a long and distinguished career dating back to 2008.
Renowned as one of the most popular figures in the Irish squad, Earls has been a mentor to many of Ireland’s latest generation, with Hansen being one of them.
Thus, showing his appreciation for Earls, Hansen has gone out of his way to get an amazing haircut in homage to his teammate, and we love it!
Dying his hair green and getting Keith cut into his hair, Hansen has once again shown just why he is one of the most popular players in the world.
