Powerhouse prop Andrew Porter has become a staple in both the Irish and Leinster squads over the past three years.
Capable of packing down on both sides of the scrum and immensely dynamic around the park, Porter will play a major role for the world’s number one team at this year’s World Cup.
Whilst his playing ability is at a world class level, it is his presence as an enforcer for Ireland that has been invaluable to Andy Farrell’s men in recent years.
Never far from a dust-up whilst and more often than not being the first Irish player to put in a big tackle, Porter utilises his otherworldly strength to great effect on the pitch.
Yet, for so long his feats in the gym have been a topic of Irish sports folklore for quite some time.
In a newly released video, Porter has once again shown his remarkable strength by squatting 230kg for eight reps!
Is the Irish prop the strongest player in the professional game today? Let us know who you think could take the title in the comments below.
