Italian backrow Sebastian Negri is as tough a player as you are likely to come across in the international game.
The Zimbabwean-born, Benetton and Azzurri star was to the fore once again for his team as they battled a mightily physical England at Twickenham today.
Despite coming out on the wrong side of the result, Italy showed plenty of endeavour but just couldn’t quite match England’s power game.
Despite facing a side hell-bent on winning the gain line, Negri put in some huge hits across the clash in yet another impressive individual performance.
Clearly getting under England’s skin, Negri and England captain Owen Farrell got into a length-off-the-ball scuffle.
Later in the contest, it was Ellis Genge’s turn to feel the power of the flanker as he went in for a big tackle only to be bounced back mercilessly.
