The 23-year-old Gloucester forward chipped the ball over the French defence from the back of a ruck, regathered it and then powered past Antoine Dupont to score Italy’s second try of the game.
Despite this moment of magic from Polledri, France went on to win the game 47-19 at Stade de France in the build up to the World Cup in Japan.
