Love, like, or loath him, James Haskell has been a talking point of many players, pundits, and supporters alike over the past week.
Haskell came under scrutiny last week after telling female player Simi Pam to “have a day off” after a post on his page ‘The Good The Bad & The Rugby’ came under fire for not including members of the England women’s squad.
This led to a heated discussion on Twitter regarding the respect the women’s game was receiving.
Haskell then chose to release a three-minute video on his personal Instagram page explaining his comments and the reasons behind them.

Whilst most people in this situation may decide to take a bit of time away from the spotlight, Haskell has perhaps restoked the fire in a piece by the Telegraph released yesterday:
Very interesting speaking with @jameshaskell.
As a woman who has experienced a lot of sexism in my career but also as a journalist I want to see all sides of a story, so felt this was an important interview to do. I am not a traitor to my sex!https://t.co/vwO9LzfiYZ

Absolutely loving this.
While niche bloggers and online creeps scream into Twitter at each other, Hask simply goes to national media and talks to the people that matter…. The world of non twitter.
Game, set, match, @jamesHaskell.
May the Twitter meltdown commence. https://t.co/dyPsILeQka

I see James Haskell has written hi piece on why he’s the victim of the consequences of his own misogyny.
Give me strength

I’ve been away from the internet in general since Saturday, but it looks like the only thing I’ve missed is that James Haskell is still a bellend.

If you had ‘seven days’ in the How Long Until James Haskell Walks Back His Public ‘Apology’ To Simi Pam And Makes It All About Him And His Hurt Feelings sweepstakes… congratulations!
You win a lifetime’s supply of telling him to fuck off. pic.twitter.com/nhqHKC12B6

Twitter users were once again split on Haskell’s words. Detailing the effects of toxic femininity and cancel culture, Haskell remains adamant about his support for the women’s game.
