Japan’s Brave Blossoms have been without a doubt World Rugby’s most improved nation over the past decade.
Rising from relative obscurity to World Cup quarterfinalists with victories over major nations France, Wales, South Africa and Ireland proving they are no flash in the pan operation.
Tier one nations are now cueing up to tour the far east nation in a manner never before seen.
Most recently were arguably World Rugby’s best side France who used the tour as an opportunity to blood new players alongside some of their established superstars.
Les Bleus emerged victorious winning both tests, but they were thoroughly pushed by the hosts who once again appear to be building towards next year’s World Cup.
Attacking flair has been the backbone of the Japanese game since head coach Jamie Joseph’s arrival post the 2015 World Cup.
If evidence of their attacking game still being razor sharp was ever needed, then these two tries would be used as the perfect examples.
Sit back and enjoy champagne rugby at its finest!
