Argentina pulled off an incredible victory over Rugby Championship rivals Australia on Saturday. It was the Puma’s largest ever victory over the Southern Hemisphere side.
One such moment in the game has drawn attention from rugby fans all around the world. Midway through the first half, the game was on a knife edge. An exciting start from both sides saw the men in light blue and white with a slender four-point lead over the Wallabies.
Attacking the Australian line, inside centre Jero De La Fuente cut a beautiful line to carve open the opposition defence. With the try-line in sight, Fuente appeared to use a hitch-kick to change direction and go on to score.
In actual fact, the talented back had pulled his hamstring and had somehow used it to get himself over the line.
