World Rugby U20 Championship hosts South Africa rubber stamped their place in Sunday’s semi-finals with a 24 – 16 win over Argentina yesterday.
Having come in for some serious criticism following their shock 34 – 26 loss to Italy in round two, a win was a non-negotiable for Bafana Nhleko’s men.
Trailing for much of the contest, the Junior Boks showed their grit to come back and close out the crucial victory.
During the fixture the Baby Boks gave showed glimpses of their immense individual talents.
One moment in particular that has been doing the rounds on social media was the huge carry from fullback Hakeen Kunene who simply flattened Argentinean prop Matías Medrano.
Whilst his back three teammate Jurenzo Julius often garners many of the headlines for big carries, this run from Kunene will do the rounds for quite some time.
