Australia’s 2023 World Cup captain Will Skelton has been confirmed to be staying at Top 14 club La Rochelle until 2028 in a social media post this morning.
The video has suggested that the 32-year-old will remain with the club until 2028 as they look to continue their impressive form in Europe and the domestic league.
Currently out of the Wallaby set up for their summer matches against Wales and Georgia, Skelton will be looking to continue playing at the highest level for La Rochelle if he is to build on his existing 30 international caps.

Speaking recently to Johnny Beattie on RugbyPass TV, Skelton had said:
“My focus is on trying to move on from that (France 2023) and perform well club-wise to get that opportunity again,
“With a new coach now as well, everything is a bit up in the air now for me and all I can really control now is home, and for me that’s club footy at La Rochelle.”
Also joining Skelton in remaining with the squad will be Tolu Latu who has signed on for an extra year, and Quentin Lespiaucq who has committed until 2027.
A further three internationals have committed their future to La Rochelle, with Ultan Dillane signing until 2026, Samoa centre Ulupano Seuteni until 2028 and France flanker Paul Boudehent until 2029.
