Former Munster and Ireland star player turned star coach Ronan O’Gara (ROG) has become one of the top coaches in European club rugby.
Guiding his side to back-to-back European Cup titles in 2022 and 2023, ROG is firmly regarded as an iconic figure in the stunning French coastal city.
Outside of the city walls, however, O’Gara has left less of a positive impact on how rival Top 14 players and coaches.
Getting into altercations with fellow coaches and players, O’Gara’s competitiveness has at time landed him in hot water with opponents.

Once again getting stuck into an incident, O’Gara had a push and shove with French international and Toulon star winger Gabin Villière during his team’s round one victory in last weekend’s Top 14 action.
What sparked the altercation remains unclear but the La Rochelle coach and winger clearly weren’t happy with one another.
