An intelligent player, able to play at the highest levels, the young man from Vannes has played alongside the likes of Finn Russell and Romaine Ntamack in club and international colours, respectively, in the past. This season, his final in Paris, he is expected to line up alongside former England fly-half, Owen Farrell – an appointment that will no doubt allow Le Garrec to further hone his skills and tactical understanding.
A Racing 92 statement reads: “Nolann Le Garrec, who arrived at the Racing training centre in 2017 from RC Vannes, has just announced to us that he will join Stade Rochelais from the 2025/26 season. The whole club and Nolann will have at the heart of closing off this adventure with the always strong ambition of Racing 92 to win titles.”
La Rochelle have also confirmed the news in a social media post, adding: “The Club confirms that international scrum-half – Nolann Le Garrec – will join the Yellow and Black from the 2025-2026 season.”
