Over two weeks ago, a Leicester Tigers fan was caught on camera completely failing to down a pint. An effort which was viewed by thousands of people and resulted in some calling for a ban from the stadium!
The embarrassed supporter, who was filmed during Tigers’ game against Clermont, was never named but quickly became an internet sensation. He was spotted by BT cameras trying to finish his drink however ended up spilling the majority and aborting his attempt.
Do you know this Tigers Fan? 🤔
Please dob them in. We'd like to have a chat about Saturday's 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 🙄 broadcast to the world…

Viewers of the viral clip found the incident hilarious and many commented on social media at just how poor the attempt was. Like @ShaunGibson19 who posted “He should buy us all a pint as a forfeit after that shocking performance!”.
After the clip had surfaced, Leicester Tigers media sent out a post asking for any information the public may have on who the mysterious supporter was.
Since that post however nothing more was said, until now.
It turns out that not only have the current premiership leaders located the infamous fan, but they also gave him a chance of redemption.
During the Tigers’ clash with Leinster this weekend, the now named fan ‘Rob’, was placed in a prime seat to atone for his blunder earlier in the season.
As soon as Chris Ashton scored for Leicester, cameras were trained on Rob to have a second go at downing a drink in front of the Welford Road faithful. This time, Rob made no mistake and finished his booze in a respectable time.
Everyone deserves a second chance! 🤝
So, after embarrassing himself at our last European home game on television 🙄, we gave Leicester Tigers Fan Rob a chance to redeem himself at Saturday's showdown with Leinster alongside fellow drink-spiller and Leicester supporter Sam… pic.twitter.com/RqJCe6yT94

A very funny touch from Tigers which received a lot of praise on social media.
Although Rob had better fortunes on the day, his beloved Leicester Tigers were not as successful and were knocked out of the Champions Cup by Leinster.
