Argentina have enjoyed an up and down Rugby Championship so far this season.
Splitting wins with Australia in Argentina before picking up a historic win in New Zealand before being thumped in the next fixture, it is hard to get a gauge on Los Pumas.
Last week’s clash with the Springboks encapsulated their tournament so far. Initially they fell behind before rebounding and coming right back into the contest before once again losing touch and ultimately succumbing to the Boks power.
Now facing the Boks in South Africa for the final fixture of this year’s tournament, Argentina are hoping a new ritual will help their chances.
Having cooked up a heck of storm in Christchurch before beating the All Blacks. Reportedly eating 170kg of meat amongst them in that now famous meal, Los Pumas are once again at it.
South African’s are renowned the world over for their famous Braai (BBQ), now it seems Los Pumas are giving them a run for their money.
Now fuelled by seemingly 100s of kilos of South African meat, Los Pumas have no excuses tomorrow!
