Louis Rees-Zammit has become a worldwide sensation ever since he burst onto the scene as a spritely 18-year-old.
At the time it was his sheer speed and try scoring abilities that caught the eyes of fans and Wales selectors, but since then his value has only increased through a much more rounded skill set, not to mention his speed continuing to increase.
Still only 22-years-old, Rees-Zammit has the world at his feet. Opportunities for the young man are arising almost as quick as he can run.
Gloucester would, no doubt, do everything in their power to keep the tall speedsters on the roster, but big money approaches from foreign clubs could well separate the Welshman from his club.
It has been reported that Japanese side, Mie Honda Heat have made an offer to sign Rees-Zammit when his contract with Gloucester runs out this summer.
Whilst this move would still allow the winger to remain eligible for his national side under the 25-cap rule, it would still need to be determined as to whether he would be able to return for Six Nations matches as they clash with the Japanese domestic league.
There aren’t a shortage of potential suiters for the young player, so watch this space.
